our Story...

While we have been based out of Galena, IL for many years, our hearts have been pulled to the Wisconsin Dells area for quite some time, and we are so proud to now be serving your event needs in both locations.

More than 26 years ago, our family and close friends created a special place together in the Wisconsin Dells: a beautiful log home filled with laughter, connection, and memories. After the loss of our mother in 2015, that chapter slowly came to an end, leaving a space in our hearts that never quite felt replaced.

In 2019, our daughter Abbey set out to help us find that feeling again. With determination and vision far beyond her years, she helped purchase a fixer-upper in the Dells alongside her mom and dad, working extra jobs to become a proud one-third owner. With the ongoing success on our Galena venues, Abbey dreamed of creating something meaningful in the Dells area. A place where hospitality, family, community, and celebration could come together.

Entrepreneurial from the very beginning, Abbey started “Abbey’s Market” at just 12 years old, selling sweet corn and homemade goods alongside her dad. After earning her business marketing degree from Edgewood College, she hoped to one day open a farmette-style coffee and event destination that blended rustic charm with unforgettable experiences.

Abbey passed away in September 2022 at just 20 years old. In 2023, we found the perfect property in Baraboo, and we knew it was meant to become a tribute to her life, spirit, and dreams.

Today, Abbey’s Century Old Farmhouse stands as a memorial to Abbey — a place where families gather, celebrations happen, and memories are made. Alongside the farmhouse, The Boots & Bouquets Barn offers a rustic setting for intimate weddings, social gatherings, and special events, complete with a beer and wine garage bar and spacious grounds for guests traveling with UTVs, trailers, snowmobiles, and RVs.

Abbey’s giving spirit also lives on through Cowgirls Are Forever – The Abbey Ehrler Foundation, created by her beloved group of cowgirls from across three states. The foundation provides scholarships nationwide and supports families in need, continuing Abbey’s legacy of generosity and community.

As part of that mission, proceeds from our pasture golf and bean bag activities are donated directly to the foundation — helping Abbey’s spirit of giving continue for years to come.

We would be honored to host your next getaway, gathering, or special event.

Testimonials

"If I could give 10 stars, I would. We just had our wedding there this past weekend on March 23. Having our wedding at Ehrler Ranch was one of the best decisions we ever made. Pam made sure to ease my mind with so many things. I couldn't have done it without her. The transition from the ceremony to the reception was flawless and it was beautifully done! I HIGHLY recommend having any event at the ranch. Thank you so much Pam. You will always hold a special place in our hearts!"
